Nagano, Maen Ski yang Tak Terlupakan
Senangnya maen ski kemaren!
Walhasil.. aku jatuh terpontang-panting,
dengan berbagai gaya jatuh, nabrak orang, nabrak salju (yaiyalah), nabrak semak-semak,
hahaha! Bahkan aku (more…)

Man Jadda Wajada
Today is the peak DAY of my one month Nihongo speech preparing and practicing. Thank a million for my best friend Baharu-sensei (Thanks for every word, even my tutor thought you are Japanese! ) and Isa-san (Thanks for everything Sa, you always reply my Nihongo mail so fast), hehehe Otsukaresamadeshitaah!! And also my best roommate who Larasmeong-chan patiently hear my speech noise in the mid night, and encourage me before I go fight.
Today, they are sugoi-ing me so much, because of the amazing speech come from the new member that learn Nihongo 3 months (That’s Bahar’s Nihongo, not me.. hehe). “No, not only the speech text, but your pronuntiation is good” (hmm, maybe because I read it loudly everyday, hehe, you can d
o it if practice longer), even someone thought that my major is Japanese Language, not pharmacy! Hhmm…
The spee
ch contestant divide into two groups, the elder Scholarship’s member and the newly entered member like me. From the first group will selected 5 best contestant for the next March Speech Contest (again..), but all of the second group, I am include, should do speech again next March (since we are one year program scholarship, then Speech Contest may forced us to be seriously learn Nihongo deeply, before we go back from Japan), so there is no winner of our group. But, I’ve done my best today, and I get a cute room shoes as a purezento.. hihi..

(more…)

Cold..
I was in campus and following Harry-san, my best tutor I ever had, walking from S2 building to B2 building brought a couple of tube containing RNA, he will teach me how to measure the concentration of RNA that has been isolated. One thing that I wonder is.. why he just brought the tube barely, without the ice box! Usually in Bandung students always bring the bio-stuff like protein or DNA or RNA inside the ice box, it is safe since that stuff may be degrade in room temperature for long time. But he just say, “No.. No problem, because the weather outside is cold”.
Then, exactly! It’s really cold outside!
When the Sakura leaves just completely fell done, the weather become cold day after day.. I click the online forecast and it said 2゚C here now. (more…)

Chisetsu Elementary School Visit
Yesterday, all YSEP students and others students of Topic on Japan class went to Chisetsu Elementary School. We walk to go there, map guide said that it takes only 20 minutes from Ookayama campus but actually it’s far enough to make your stomach hungry again after breakfast.
But the elementary school students are completely surprising!
You know, It feels like in Chibi Maruko Chan Movie where I can see so many children around and they just talking something that I didn’t know what is it mean. I got the first grade class, where the 7 years old kids with reddish cheek shouting, yelling, and laughing each other, until sensei tell them to be quiet. You can imagine that crowded class and sensei shouting like in Crayon Shin Chan Anime, but the students are not so naughty like Shin Chan.

(more…)

Jilbabku Sayang
Menjadi muslimah berjilbab di Jepang ternyata sangat menyenangkan! Hehehehe..

Trying to help them as long as we can, even we are far away from Indonesia. Trust us, we love Indonesia anyway.

Homestay Program : My day with Kiky’s family
Homestay Program is one of activity for International Student of Tokyo Tech that want to know more about Japan by living in Japanese family’s house. Lucky me that I’m in Japan now, of course I didn’t missed it!!
After finishing the registration process, finally I meet my Host Family at the gathering in campus. It is very surprissed!! They give me a purezento covered beautifully and a postcard that contain her hope for this program, she and her family are very happy to make a friend with me.
And then we go to their home. She said to me “Ayo kita pergi ke rumah saya..” hehehe very nice. Evidently, She lived with the other friend that be the host family of my friends. So we get the wellcoming party together with the other friends that lived in the same area, in Tokyo. Before it does, we should make some meal to share in the party, so we cook together in the top of the mansion where the host family of Risvan lived. So I, laras, and Risvan make a onigiri, tuna karoke, and the other Japanese delicious food. Yummy..yummmy.. but we are not allowed to eat much after cook, because we will don’t have any appetite at the party then. So we eat as much as possible at the party!!! Hahaha.
My host fam house is in the first floor, so we should get the stair until fift floor where we cook. Kiky’s son named Dang Go Ri, 6 years old, lead me to the stair and when we arrive at the fift stair, he showing something outside! TOKYO TOWER!!!! Whooaaa… very glorious..

And then we get the party, and meet my Indonesian friends that have a host fam in Tokyo too. They are Risi and Awan. So we are 5 Indonesian now. We want to surprise the Japanese people there, by singing doraemon song together in Indonesian Language! Haha.. Succesfully, they know it and they just follow us singging a doraemon song but in Japanese language. What a nice party.. and I found my favorite food here: Takoyaki!!! Hwaa.. delicious.. .And then as the Japanese party, they never let the room dirty and messy after party. Yeah, we cook our meal by our self, arrange the party room by our self, and clean the room (and bring the garbage go home) by our self.
And then I stay at Kiky’s house. She lived very happy with two son : Dang Go Ri and Kurori, but they have a korean name Kyu and Mino. And Mino is very very very cuuutee… he is just 3 years old. Cute so much, he talk and ask—just like a baby that start to talk so much (in Japanese), and of course I don’t know what is that mean.. but they just laugh and laugh.. very funny kids! And Kiky’s husband can speak english well, Kiky an her husband are quite well in English. We talk so much, I share about tari Indang, and we search on youtube, and they very impressed! They like it so much and they said that they will come to our performance in tke Koudaisai Festival, one of annual culture festival in Tokyo Tech. Anyway, it is very impressive to get homestay program with them.
